ONE BASE
FOUR MODULES
Modular Product Line That’s All About the Base
The SnoYak™ Base is the foundation for all four SnoYak™ set-ups and is molded to fit any standard ski binding—perfect for programs looking to quickly change platforms to accommodate different skill and injury levels.
SnoYak™ is a patented sit-ski platform that accepts four adjustable and interchangeable riding setups with unprecedented balance and control.
SnoYak’s™ four setups accommodate a wide range of abilities and injuries, and it’s fun for those with full-body mobility, too.
SnoYakers™ can experience mountain-time enjoyment—even with limited and upper body functions—giving adaptive ski programs a cost-effective and easy solution for a wide range of students.
SnoYak™ achieves superior performance by placing the rider in a very stable, upright kneeling position. This position concentrates the weight over the center of the ski like a standup skier. The combination of centered weight and stability allows the rider to maximize strength, power, and speed in any direction resulting in better control, better balance, and quicker turns.

SnoYak’s™ combination of centered weight and stability allows the rider to maximize strength, power, and speed in any direction resulting in the following:
— Better Control
— Better Balance
— Quicker Turns

One Base – Four Patented Modules
SitYak

A traditional style sit-ski with the rider in the semi-recumbent position: knees above the hips and the legs/feet positioned in front of the rider, the SnoYak™ SitYak sits higher than most sit skis, allowing for quicker edge-to-edge movement as well as independent lift loading. Our SitYak features two ride-height settings for beginner/intermediate as well as advanced skiing.
Not shown – ankle strap, seat belt, evacuation system, and optional high-back core support.
FreeRider

The SnoYak™ FreeRider is designed for independent skiing by those with limited core function. A high back combined with a modified seat angle and knee-hip location keeps the rider secure and comfortable while carving. The molded knee supports articulate to two positions (upper and lower) by pulling on the latch mechanism in front of the platform. The lower position is used during the transfer into the bucket as well as lift loading. Knee supports are placed in the upper position to prevent toe drag while skiing. Adjustable ankle straps ensure the ankles remain secure during skiing.
Not shown – seat belt, evacuation system, and chest strap.
LowRider

The SnoYak™ LowRider is designed for those with limited core function as well as full mobility riders looking for a more locked-in feel. The LowRider has the same ankle straps and dual position articulating knee supports as the FreeRider. The steeper seat angle and lower knee height allow for more aggressive riding.
Not shown: seat belt and evacuation system.
ThunderBolt

Our high-performance model, designed to be ridden by full mobility skiers as well as those with limited lower limb function alike, the SnoYak™ ThunderBolt allows the rider the widest range of motion for the most aggressive, highest performance experience yet. The ThunderBolt has the same ankle straps and dual position articulating knee supports as the FreeRider and LowRider. The ankle straps, however, are optional, allowing full-mobility skiers to quickly take their legs out for increased stability while stopped on the hill.
Not shown, evacuation system.
